Talty SUD will be participating in the Annual Free Chlorine Maintenance Program from March 4 to April 1. This process is approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and aims to improve the overall water quality in the system. During this period, you may experience taste and odor concerns with the water. If problems persist, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 972-552-4422.

No Annual Backflow Testing Required for Gateway, Lakewood Trails, Las Lomas, and Vintage Meadows Developments

Talty SUD no longer requires annual residential backflow testing in the Gateway, Lakewood Trails, Las Lomas, and Vintage Meadows developments per TCEQ regulations. An initial test is required when the irrigation system is initially installed and no longer after that. For more information, please contact the Talty SUD office at 972-552-4422.

New Water Rate Decrease!!!

At the October 17, 2023 board meeting, the Talty Special Utility District Board of Directors approved a new water rate decrease, effective December 20, 2023. The first bills affected by this rate decrease will be due January 15, 2024. Inquires concerning this decrease should be directed to the District's office at (972)552-4422.

New Water Base Rate Decrease to Begin May 20, 2023!

At the March 21, 2023 board meeting, the Talty Special Utility District Board of Directors approved a new water base rate decrease of $1.00, effective May 20, 2023, for its customers. The first bills affected by this rate decrease will be mailed June 1, which will be due June 15, 2023. Inquiries concerning this decrease should be directed to the District Office at (972) 552-4422.

Talty SUD Board of Directors has adopted NEW Landscape Irrigation ordinances effective January 1, 2009. The new ordinances require an installer of an irrigation system to be licensed by the commision (TCEQ) and obtain a permit from the Talty SUD office before the installation of the irrigation system and get the required inspections.
